You won't really need a step by step tutorial for making these cuties since it's basically just stringing beads on your thread, but here are a couple of tips we suggest to have the most success!
- Make sure you are using elastic thread. It's the easiest to thread through the small holes on these beads and it stretches nicely so you don't have to add any clasps or closure pieces. If you buy the kit above it comes with the perfect weight of thread to fit the holes, but if you buy beads elsewhere you'll want to look for a thread that will slide through the holes nicely.
- Once you have applied all of your beads and knotted the elastic thread, place a dot of glue on the knot. This will prevent the thread from slipping which can be so frustrating!
- Have fun making a variety of patterns with your beads. You an do this by doing some larger sections of colors, change colors with each bead, add gold beads in certain places and personalize them with lettered beads! We liked thinking about what color combinations would look best worn in a stack and went from there!
That's it! You're all set to give your wrists the accessory update they deserve. We can't see what you come up with!
