So, it’s your family member/friend/co-worker’s birthday/graduation/retirement and you want to surprise them with a congratulatory cake but you’re not the most proficient with a piping bag and you know that the grocery store bakery nearest you is sure to butcher any kind of icing assignment. Printer
Cardstock
Wooden Skewers
Hot Glue + Gun
Scissors
How to make a Printable Cake Topper
Step 1: Get the the “It’s Your Day” printable here and print it out on cardstock.
Step 2: Using scissors, cut out the printed design.
Step 3: Attach each piece of the printable individually to its own skewer using a hot glue gun.
Step 4: Once each piece has its own skewer, stick the skewers in a cake! We loved arranging these from the front of the cake to the back and staggering their placement for a bigger effect!
Can you believe how easy that was? For someone as frosting challenged as I am, being able to print off my cake decorations is a complete lifesaver. Plus, this printable works perfectly for a wide variety of events and occasions, so you can use it again and again.
