We had the funnest opportunity to team up with all our friends that are part of Plaid Creators to do a DIY Living Room! We made a blanket, clock, and picture frame, but today we are going to share the tutorial for these DIY Stenciled Tassel Pillows! Make sure to check out a sneak peek of the full room at the bottom of this postt (and the full reveal over at Plaid), and enter to win $500 in Plaid supplies along with the entire gallery wall we created! Here is how we made the pillows…

Supplies:
White pillow
FolkArt Stencils
Apple Barrel Multi-Surface Paint
Spouncer brush
Yarn
Scissors
Needle

Step 1: Apply paint to pillow using the stencil and spouncer.

Step 2: Remove stencil, and let paint dry.

Step 3: Create tassels by wrapping yarn and tying it off. Cut the fringe to make it even.

Step 4: Attach the tassels to each corner of the pillow.

Aren’t they so cute? I love how they look on the couch in the Plaid Creators living room!

Happy crafting!
