Housewarming Gift Idea with Printable Tag
Whenever we’ve moved in the past, we have had the sweetest neighbors stop by to introduce themselves, and they come bearing allll the breads. And while bread happens to be one of my love languages, not every gift giver is a baker and not every gift receiver is a gluten lover, which got me thinking about some fresh ideas for housewarming gifts.
Supplies needed to make this unique housewarming gift idea
Wood house
FolkArt acrylic paint in various colors
Paint brushes
Scissors
Kraft cardstock
Baker’s twine
“Home is the nicest word there is” tags (download here!)
How to make this unique housewarming gift idea
Step 1: Paint the exterior wooden edge of the house with two coats of acrylic paint. Let dry completely.
Step 2: Download the “Home is the nicest word there is” tags and print on kraft cardstock.
Step 3: Cut tags to size to fit on top of the the square portion of the houses.
Step 4: Place the tag on top of the house and wrap with baker’s twine. Tie a knot or use tape to secure.
These are such a fun way to welcome someone home and add a fun piece of decor to a new space. Plus, they would be perfect as neighbor gifts for the holidays! Just paint a bunch, add your tag, and drop off! No baking skills required.
