We’re always looking for ways to give back, especially during the holiday season. This stuffed llama gift with printable tag is the perfect service project that everyone will love. Here’s the idea: Print and cut the tags and attach them to stuffed llama toys. Then go out and leave the llamas in places where kids will find them – on a low shelf at the library, inside the play place at McDonalds, etc. When they stumble on the llama, they will read the tag (or take it to a parent to read) and see that they get to take the llama home with them. We love the idea of putting a bunch together and dropping them off for a family party and having kids help leave them in kid-friendly places to get in the spirit of giving. Keep reading for the super easy instructions!
Supplies needed for this stuffed llama gift idea:
Stuffed llamas
White cardstock
Printer
Bakers twine
To get started, print the tags on white cardstock (you can download the file at the bottom of this post). Cut and punch a hole at the top.
Then, attach a tag to each llama using baker’s twine. So cute!
Then, head out with your family to play Christmas elf! I love the idea of finding somewhere inconspicuous to watch the reactions of whoever finds them. It would even be fun to hand them out to kids you see at the store or donate them to kids in need.
Happy gifting!
xo, Sam
