Our unplanned Halloween village week continues with this darling and EASY Halloween village display! Supplies needed to make your own Halloween Village Display

Christmas Village (we used this one that is only $13!)
Black spray paint
Spider web decorations
Battery-powered tea light candles

Step 1: Lay out your village, trees, and other accessories on newspaper or cardboard. Spray with black spray paint, and let dry completely. I love how a little black spray paint completely transforms even the smallest details – like the figurines that were once shoveling snow that, once sprayed, are digging a grave. It’s a little sinister, but that’s what Halloween is about!

Step 2: Add wisps of spider webbing to the trees and buildings.

Step 3: Add battery-powered tea lights under the houses for an eerie flickering light effect.

I love how this spooky upcycle turned out, and I especially love how easy it was to make.

Be sure to check out our Studio 5 segment where we shared these, and a few other, haunted Halloween village ideas!

Happy upcycling!
