If you read this blog then you know that iron-on transfer IS OUR JAM. We love it. We live for it. So, when holidays come around, my iron starts getting hot because the opportunities for iron-on festivity are endless. This is especially the case for Valentines day because HEARTS. I already want hearts on everything every day of the year, so a holiday that accepts this as its standard I embrace wholeHEARTedly. Ok fine. Here is the Valentine Sweatshirt I made:

How to make a Valentine Sweatshirt
Step 1: First, you’ll want to choose a design for your shirt. I found mine here.

Step 2: There are a couple of different methods for getting the design transferred to your shirt. You can print off the design from your computer to an inkjet printer and iron on that design after cutting it out, or you can trace and hand cut out the design onto the iron-on transfer paper, or you can use a cutting machine to cut your design.
Note: If your design has words like mine you’ll want to remember to flip your image horizontally so that after you iron it on it will read in the right direction!

Step 3: Iron on your design per your iron-on brand instructions.

Step 4: Peel back your paper once it cools and that’s it! It couldn’t be easier and the result are SO cute and festive! I love you, “love you” sweatshirt! I really do!

Happy Valentines Day and happy Valentines Day crafting! LOVE YOU.
