The whole experience with Outer Banks Clam Bakes was so fun. It was the coolest to have a chef in our kitchen working with this gorgeous seafood, answering our questions and creating such a fabulous meal. It was the perfect way to enjoy the best of OBX seafood while still staying super relaxed on vacation since it allowed us to not worry about making reservations for our size of group at a restaurant (we had 23 people and LOTS of toddlers!).
Not only was the quality of the food unbelievably delicious, the presentation was gorgeous, and they set up AND cleaned up. We literally sat back and watched the chefs work like magicians, sat down and ate and then went back to MORE relaxing. I could get used to it, you guys.
And if this kind of relaxation wasn’t enough, Outer Banks Clam Bakes also has a grocery delivery service so you never have to leave the beach!
One of the chefs straight up took out a knife and carved that watermelon right in front of my face. I could have died. So beautiful! People are the best.
Our experience with Outer Banks Clam Bake was definitely a highlight of our trip and an experience our group will never forget. I can’t recommend them highly enough! We were blown away.
Ugh. Take. Me. Back. Really guys, if you get the chance you have to take this trip. Add it to that bucket list.
Have you booked your OBX trip yet? In case you missed it, you can read more about our beach house and book your own in this post. And be sure to book your OBX clam bake here! Just be sure to add a +1 to your group numbers since I’m coming with you and I don’t want to hear another word about it. (I’ll bring my own sunscreen and promise I won’t be a bother.)
Happy travels!
