Three Greek Yogurt Smoothie Recipes

We don’t have air conditioning in our apartment, so I live on smoothies for lunch in the summertime. They keep me cool, are healthy and easy, and taste so yummy. So over the summer months, I have perfected the art of smoothie making, and these three greek yogurt smoothie recipes are my favorites. But let me warn you… these are not your chia seed, soy milk, sweetened-with-dates smoothies. These are basic smoothies with normal ingredients. But boy, are they delicious. And cute… I mean look at those colors!

And in case you were wondering, there aren’t any directions for these smoothies, except to blend the ingredients together. Easy enough, right? Here we go…

Strawberry Banana Breakfast Smoothie
1/2 C Water
1/2 C Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 C Oats (cooked if you want a smooth texture)
1/2 C Frozen Strawberries
1 Banana

Tropical Green Smoothie
1/2 C Water
1/2 C Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 Banana
1/2 C Frozen Pineapple
1/4 C Shredded Coconut
2 Cubes Spinach (I blend my spinach and freeze in ice cubes in advance)

Peach Mango Banana Smoothie

    Hello Sam,
These smoothies really do look delicious! I’m especially craving the Peach Mango Banana smoothie right now. As you said in the post these are basic smoothies with normal ingredients, which is something that I need. Smoothies are a great for breakfast and lunch and the are actually quite filling. I haven’t mastered smoothie making yet, and these recipes are perfect for helping me and easy to follow. I’m super excited to make these soon. I want to know if they taste as delicious as they look. I have never tried greek yogurt before nor thought about using it instead of regular yogurt. I was just wondering if the Greek yogurt adds a different taste or texture to the smoothie?ReplyCancel
