Did you use 651 vinyl? I was under the assumption that vinyl needs to "breath" so we can't seal it with anything this isn't true?ReplyCancel

        • KarenDecember 18, 2016 - 6:52 pm

According to Oracle makers “vinyl is not alive so it does not need to breathe. ” lol!ReplyCancel

I made some mugs and the de safe mod podge can be seen. I have let them dry and done a second coat
Any suggestions? Do I cost the WHOLE mug?ReplyCancel

        • prettylifegirlsJanuary 12, 2017 - 11:09 am

Hi Roberta! Yes, I did apply ModPodge to the whole mug because it does leave a little bit of texture and you’ll want that to be consistent on the whole mug. However, be sure that you are doing a thin layer since the ModPodge isn’t there to help adhesion, it is only there to make the mugs dishwasher safe. I hope this helps! ox.ReplyCancel

First of all thank u for the post. Im new to cricket and vinyl but not new to crafting. So im still learning about cricket and vinyl…. Ive never used that kind of mod podge. But all other mod podge is slightly visible when dry, especially on glass. I also thought that permanent vinyl is top rack dishwasher safe? So my question is… what does the mod podge look like after its dry, especially on a wine glass? And why do u cover the vinyl if its supposed to be permanent?ReplyCancel

Good morning! So you have run these through the dishwasher with no damage to the vinyl? How have they held up over time? What about microwaving? Do they hold up to that?
        THANK YOU!
