When we were in quarantine, we were in constant need of stimulating activities for the kiddos. And while we love making things with glue, construction paper and paint, it is fun for everyone to mix up the supplies that we use and the projects that we make, and today’s idea definitely does that! These DIY unicorn bubbles (also known as Bubble Foam) were a crazy hit with my kids and use the most simple ingredients that you probably have in your house right now! You can do this in a big tupperware inside or outside, or make it in the bathtub for a fun bath time with easy clean up!
This foam is full of color, smells wonderful and the kids can’t get enough of playing with it! Add some toys to the mix and let your kids give them bubble beards and scrub them clean, or just let them enjoy the feeling of playing in foam! Here’s how you make it:
Supplies needed to make Unicorn Bubbles
Body wash or bubble bath

Food Coloring
Mixer or blender
How to make Unicorn Bubbles
Watch the video (and be sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel), or read the steps below!
Step 2: Mix everything together on high speed until it forms stiff peaks (like whipped cream).
Step 3: Empty the bubbles in a large bin or empty bath tub. Repeat the process with different colors.
Now, let the kids mix and swirl (and basically wash their hands) like crazy! We added some figurines to the bubbles and the kids had so much fun. Afterward, we put our bin in the shower and the kids rinsed all the toys and had another round of fun with the bubbles in the water.
Happy making!

will the kids skin get stained with the food coloring in the foam?
Nope! I think the soap counteracts the coloring!
