Easter Crafts for Toddlers: Painted Pasta Easter Egg Art

If you made our last kiddo project (these pretty pasta necklaces) then you probably have some leftover painted pasta sitting around just waiting to get crafty! So, why don’t we make a darling Easter themed project that will put all of that colorful pasta to CUTE use!? Today we’re making painted pasta Easter egg art!

Easter is the definitely the cutest holiday and colorful eggs of all kinds are welcomed around here. This is such a simple project for letting kiddos get colorful, festive, and work on some fine motor skills. Here’s how you do it:

Supplies needed to make Easter Egg Art

Dried pasta
Paint + Brushes
Glue
Cardstock
Scissors

How to make Easter Egg Art

Step 1: Place a portion of pasta in a ziplock bag with a squirt of paint. Seal the bag and work it through in your hands until the pasta is coated in paint.

Step 2: Lay out some parchment paper or foil on a flat surface. Pour the painted pasta onto the surface to dry.

Step 3: Once the pasta has dried completely, let your child decorate the colored pasta using more paint and a brush. Or, simply let them move on to the next step if you want to make your life extra easy!
