It seems like there are two camps of people who throw a Superbowl party — those who do it because they love football and those who do it because they love to party. Generally, I cannot tell you anything about the Superbowl aside from who is performing at half-time AND what kind of queso to expect, so I suppose I fall into camp paaaarty. As a result, today I'm going to show you a shockingly simple way to make football mason jars utensil holders for the big game that will make your party table pop!
All you need are three simple supplies (mason jars, a couple of colors of our favorite COLORSHOT spray paint and Tulip Dimensional Magic Fabric Paint), and your
JLO halftime party Superbowl party will be one cute step closer to being put together! Here's what you'll need:
Supplies needed to make DIY Football Mason Jars
How to make DIY Football Mason Jars
Step 1. Place your clean, dry jars on a surface safe for spray painting and apply one coat of spray paint. Let dry completely and then apply a second coat, if needed.
Step 2. Repeat step 1 for each color of spray paint until you have one brown, one green and one black jar.
Step 3. Using Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint, add your designs to your jars. We added X's, O's and arrows to the black jar to make it look like a play, field markings to the green jar, and stitches to the brown jar to look like a football. Apply slowly and with a steady hand. Let dry completely.
That is it! Can you believe how easy these are to make? Just three supplies and three simple steps! We loved using COLORSHOT spray paint on this project because the colors are so vibrant, the application is smooth and it dries so quickly! Plus, Using Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint is so fun because it is sort-of puffy in its application which gives the jars the dimension that is its namesake! So much fun.
