Last week when we had a nice sunny day before February forgot it was supposed to be the worst and bring the snow back, I wore this dress. Isn't it cute? The pattern is so fun and the fit has such a sassy vintage vibe, perfect for covering a baby bump, or for nursing a little one once they decide to show up. I even put on yellow shoes, pretended it was April, and twirled a little. And while, today when I look out my window those sunny times are faaaaaaaar away and I'm definitely wearing some of husband's biggest, warmest, raggediest sweats to keep from freezing to death, we always have the memories of a good dress day. I mean, most people don't know this but I heard that the person who said “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened” was having a good dress day when they felt prompted to speak that kind of poetry. Yeah, that's definitely the origin story of that.
Anyway, hope you have a good dress day soon!
