Whenever Back-to-School season rolls around, I think about how magical it was getting ready for a new school year – new clothes, school supplies, reconnecting with friends, getting back into a routine. My fondest back-to-school memories are from my time as a college student at Utah State University (GO AGGIES!) and all the excitement that came with life away from home. Of course, there were challenges that came with college student life – lots of girls crammed into small apartments with small bathrooms and not a lot of storage space being a few of them.
Being a dedicated/obsessive face-washer, it was important for me to have a place for my facial and cosmetic products – like these from NEUTROGENA®, CLEAN & CLEAR® and AVEENO®. So today I am going to share a fun little DIY for this Brush Stroke Makeup Caddy, for those moments when you need to get ready in front of any mirror and easily carry your makeup and skin products!
Supplies
Caddy (found in the dollar section at Target)
White chalk paint
Craft paint (3 colors)
Paint brushes
Step 1: Paint caddy white using the chalk paint. Let dry.
Step 2: Apply brush strokes using first color of craft paint.
Step 3: Apply brush strokes using second color of craft paint.
Step 3: Apply brush strokes using third color of craft paint.
Step 4: Paint the edges and handle of the caddy. Let dry.
This fun caddy is perfect for carrying my favorite products!
Happy back-to-school and GO AGGIES!
xo, Sam
