Guys. Halloween is over. Do you know what this means? The REAL holidays are here! Pies! Decorating! Togetherness! I am pleased as can be about this so I decided to get right on my holiday crafting this week and came up with a little Thanksgiving DIY using Nutter Butter cookies! Nutter Butters are so fun because they are perfect for creating all sorts of Thanksgiving treats (have you ever googled Nutter Butter turkeys? Adorbs.), and these little dipped numbers are SO easy and so delicious.
These little cuties are perfect for giving out to visitors if you are hosting Thanksgiving, or they would be fun to give to your neighbors or friends throughout the month! Plus, if you add our little printable, your loved ones will most certainly be thankful for you (and the deliciousness). Here is how I made them:
What you need
–Nutter Butter cookies (16 oz.)
-Melting chocolate for dipping (I used white and milk chocolate)
-Toppings (I used crushed candies, crushed peanuts and sprinkles!)
To dip your cookies, follow the heating directions on your chocolate package. Once the chocolate is ready, dip your cookies halfway, then immediately sprinkle with toppings.
Place cookies on parchment paper to harden completely. (You can also place them in the fridge to speed up the process.)
Piece of cake, right? And aren’t they so cute? I love all of the different colors and textures. And guys, SO SO delicious. The peanut covered ones blew my mind.
Once your cookies have hardened completely it’s time to get them ready to give! Our printables tags bring it all together, and you know we always love a good pun! You can download them from our shop. Then, print them and cut them out.
Put your set cookies in bags, tie tags on with string, and go make someone’s day! So fun!
What holiday treat ideas do you have up your sleeve? I want to hear. Thankful for YOU (and your good taste in treats).
Happy making!
xo, Liz
