Have you noticed the trend lately of posting a picture of you from 2008 next to a picture of you from 2018? Some people look the same, just with better lighting, and others have completely transformed. It’s WILD. I got married around 2008 and let me tell you, those pictures don’t really hold up to today’s wedding pictures. There was no Pinterest back then, and NO eyebrows. Needless to say there are several things I might change were I to do it again, and one might be my wedding favors since now I have my blessed Silhouette machine that turns even the simplest item into a meaningful gift.
For instance, recently we made these darling “Love, Sweet Love” jars over on the Craftables blog that are perfect for wedding favors, or gifts for Valentine’s Day! They are so easy to make, and they are super adorable and useful!
I love the idea of making a batch of these for friends, teachers or family members for Valentine’s Day, making them as favors for a Bachelorette party or wedding shower, or, of course, handing them out at a wedding dinner or reception to thank guests with something lovely that they will actually use! You’re going to love making these and the recipients will be amazed by your sweetness!
