DIY Embroidered Vinyl Aprons with CraftBundles.com

It’s September now, and if you ask me, September marks the start of BAKING SEASON! First, there are school functions to start baking for, then it becomes pumpkin spice time and you KNOW I’m going to be baking all the pumpkin things, then there will be treats to make for Halloween, then allll the pies for Thanksgiving, and don’t EVEN get me started on Christmas! Yes, baking season has begun which means you need to get yourself a couple of adorable aprons so you can start getting your hands dirty, so today we are here to help!

We’ve teamed up with our friends at CraftBundles.com to make these sassy embroidered vinyl aprons with some of my favorite designs I’ve seen in a long time. CraftBundles.com is seriously the best place for the CUTEST craft resources at a fraction of their retail value including the most wonderful SVG & DXF Cut Files, Patterns, Clipart Graphics and more! The designs used in today’s project come from their September craft bundle that has 11 crafty fonts, 554 cutting files and over 140 clipart elements for only $19! This is going to keep you crafting all through baking season and beyond! Now let’s make these aprons!

Supplies Needed
September Bundle from CraftBundles.com
Heat Transfer Vinyl
Plain Apron
Iron
Tea Towel
Embroidery Floss
Needle
Scissors

Instructions

  1. Download your file from CraftBundles.com and open it in your chosen cutting machine software. Arrange to fit your apron, mirror your image and then cut it out on heat transfer vinyl.

2. Weed your design and arrange design on your apron.

3. Cover with a tea towel and press design with a hot, dry towel until the design is fully adhered. Remove backing.

4. Using your embroidery floss and needle, stitch some accents around (or through!) your design to add interest.

That’s it! Time to get in that kitchen!

Aren’t these designs from CraftBundles.com the best? They crack me up. I loved adding a little bit of embroidery too for some added texture and interest. These would be such a fun hostess gift for your fall get togethers or for the holidays!

Happy baking season!
