One of the FEW things that I find fun while enduring living in the frigid tundra during the winter are the patterns and fabrics that make winter cute. For instance, this plaid dress from Dainty Jewells in a lovely wool-like fabric is a total dream to wear on a winter Sunday. It gives me some Hygge feels, like I’m a real lady who should be sitting by a fire, sipping tea, and slowing down the pace. And while, in reality, I am usually wearing it to wrangle a toddler and eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich over the sink, it’s still great to feel cute on a bleak winter day. Plus, I love a classic dress that can be styled with modern accessories, like these favorite Cents of Style booties. It’s the best of all the worlds, except for the stupid weather will it ever be warm again where did the sun go is it going to be cold FOREVER SOMEONE DO SOMETHING.
Anyway. This dress. These booties. Put them on, get through winter, look cute, etc.
Happy winter dressing!
